How to request a refund for Nano Banana AI subscriptions and credit packs

Overview

We want every Nano Banana AI subscription to deliver value. This policy explains how refunds are calculated, what information we need, and how usage of your subscription credits affects eligibility.

Eligibility

  • Refunds are available for active subscriptions and one-time credit packs purchased directly from Nano Banana AI.
  • We can only review refund requests that arrive through our support mailbox at support@nanobanana.uk.
  • Refunds are proportional to the unused credits on your subscription or credit pack. We calculate the refundable portion as: refund amount = purchase price × (1 - usage ratio).
  • If more than 10% of the subscription credits (or the included monthly credits on your plan) have been consumed, the purchase is considered delivered and is no longer refundable.
  • Credits granted during trials, promotions, or free tiers are not refundable.
  • Local consumer protection laws (including EU/UK cooling-off rules) continue to apply where relevant.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Send an email to support@nanobanana.uk with the subject line “Refund Request – Your Account Email”.
  2. Include the following details:
    • Account email and order or invoice ID
    • Purchase date and plan or credit pack name
    • A brief explanation of why you’re requesting a refund
    • Your current credit usage (number of credits consumed and the total allocation)
  3. Our team will acknowledge the request within 2 business days and may ask for additional clarification if the usage amount is unclear.

Review & Processing Timeline

  • Initial review: 1–3 business days after we receive all required details.
  • Decision: We’ll let you know by email whether the request is approved or declined based on the 10% usage rule, your reported usage, and any applicable consumer protections.
  • Payout: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in a prorated amount that matches your unused credits. Banks or card providers typically post the funds within 5–10 business days.

Partial Usage Guidance

  • If you’ve used 10% or less of your included credits, we’ll calculate the refund based on the unused portion. Example: using 6% of a £29 plan leads to a refund of 94% of the purchase price.
  • If you’ve exceeded the 10% usage threshold, you can still cancel your subscription to prevent future renewals, but we won’t be able to return the current charge.
  • For annual plans, the proportional calculation uses the total annual credit allocation.
  • For credit packs, we take the number of credits consumed divided by the credits purchased to derive the usage ratio.
  • For annual plans, the 10% threshold is calculated against the total annual credit allocation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a refund after I’ve used more than 10% of my credits?

No. Once usage exceeds 10% of the credits tied to your subscription or credit pack, the purchase is considered delivered.

What if I was charged but never accessed the product?

Email us immediately. If our logs confirm the credits were unused, we can still process a refund even after the standard review window.

I canceled my subscription—do I still need to email?

Yes. Canceling stops future renewals, but refunds always require an email request so we can verify eligibility.

What happens to my credits if the refund is approved?

Approved refunds deactivate the corresponding subscription or credit pack. Remaining credits become unavailable, and the refunded amount matches the unused credit percentage.
